DARK SEASON 2 SPOILERS BELOW THE LINE
At the ending of Season 1 of Netflix's time-travel mystery series Jonas ends up in the future.
Season 2 begins on June 21st, 1921 where young Noah killing a man who helps him creating the portal. In this season a new character Adam is introduced, he orders Noah to retrieve Claudia's diary and tells Noah to prepare for an apocalypse that will occur on June 27th, 2020. At present, which is 6 days from the apocalypse a new agent Clausen is sent to help the investigation to help Claudia, meanwhile, the elder version of Jonas meets his present Hanna and makes her believe that he is her son by taking her to 1986 where she saw Michael with Ines. In 1987, the older version of Claudia meets her younger self and provides her the coordinates for the time travel machine. Now, Egon got doubt on his report on a double homicide case in which he arrested Ulrich and hence making him stay in the past for the last 33 years and meets him in a psychiatric facility.
In 2053, Jonas tries to travel back in time to stop the apocalypse but he was always intruded by the adult version of Elizabeth, by some means he makes is way to the portal where the god particles are present which was said by Claudia to Jonas. Helge returns from 1987 to his home after 7 months of helping Noah to build a time machine.
older version of Claudia meets Agnes Neilsen (Noah's sister) to retrieve the missing pages of the diary later Noah retrieves the missing pages by killing the older version of Claudia.moving on to Jonas, he travels to 1921 and meets younger Noah and Agnes who makes Jonas meet Adam. Adam reveals that he is the leader of "SIC MUNDUS".he tells younger Jonas that there is a way to change the past and opens a portal of god particles that can take anyone to any time. They thought that every incident started to happen after Mikkel's suicide, so Adam sends Jonas to the past to stop Mikkel from killing himself.
At present, elder Jonas meets with Hanna, Kathrina, peter, and Charlotte and reveals about time travel. at that time Charlotte reveals that H.G. Tanenhaus was not her real grandfather and she doesn't know her parents. later, Noah visits Charlotte while searching the things of H.G.Tannhaus revealing himself as her father. Mean while Bartosz was threatened by Magnus and others unless they make them travel back to 1987.
while on 20th June, 2019 young Jonas meets Martha and meets Mikkel and tries to convince him not to kill himself, but the older version of Claudia comes to them and says that he need to kill himself and tells that Jonas that his role is bigger than he believes.
It is told that Mikkel never had the intension of killing himself before they both came to meet him. Egon knows about the fact that younger Claudia knows the about time travel and all other stuff he tries to call authorities, and dies while Claudia pushes him and he hits his head and ends up dying by saying you are the white devil . while adult Jonas meets younger Martha and says that she is her nephew.
Claussen searches around the buried radioactive wastes. Noah getting he missing pages confronts Adam while he is revealed that Charlotte's daughter will become his wife and their daughter is Charlotte, within minutes Agnes kills Noah while older Magnus and Franziska were there. In the day of the apocalypse, Claussen opens the radioactive waste, In 2053, older Elizabeth turns on the god particle portal, in 1921 older Magnus and Franziska does the same portal and Kathrina opens the SIC MUNDUS door in the cave. All these four incidents happen simultaneously which opens a portal between 2053 Elizabeth and 2020 Charlotte. all these four incidents make the god particles evolve which is the reason for Apocalypse. meanwhile, Adam travels to 2019 and kills Martha in front of younger Jonas. Jonas meets another Martha from another world
