Chernobyl is a 5 episode HBO mini-series which explained the aftermath of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant explosion in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics which is one of the world's worst manmade disaster. This mini-series includes some fiction and mostly real incidents throughout the show. The show looks so scary, dark, and horrifying, and to be mentioned the writer Craig Mazin was the director of Hangover 2 and 3. This series was appreciated and loved by both critics and fans.
Chernobyl tells the story from perspective from various people of the story. The perspective from various people enhances the emotional influence over the characters. It is a fascinating true story and it also about how informative is this HBO's documentary mini-series. This show portrays every technical aspect of this catastrophe.

The episodes were captivating, very real even the character and scenes reassemble the characters and the original scenes. This show illustrates how dangerous the disaster can be and is from every point of view of the victims from the society to everyone involved in the rescue mission and whoever wanted to stop that catastrophe to the worse than it actually was. The visual representation of radiation burns was so real as far we've seen till today. The middle 3 episodes portray the enormity of the disaster and how the rescue was done and all the cleanup procedures, the sacrifices made by every volunteer workers, and measures taken by them. The final episode was the court scene where all of the things were lined up and said how did the catastrophe actually happen. The court scene was brilliantly written and acted such that Valery Legasov explains how an RBMK nuclear reactor works, how the accident occurred, whose fault and everything. The final epode of the series ends with Valery asking,
"And this, at last, is the gift of Chernobyl; where I once would fear the cost of truth; now I only ask: What is the cost of lies?"
What makes the Chernobyl series different from others?
Many series may come from the true events but the Chernobyl disaster made more impact in the world more than anything. Director Johan Renck shows the cost effect aftermath Chernobyl disaster he made us feel really in it.
